Founded first in prayer partnership of Church pastors, then focused outward to community. ABB is a bridge between rich and poor, the Church and the Community, God and His people. ABB provides a structure for local churches to pool resources and talent to directly interface with families in need to empower people through Christ.
ABB works to form multidisciplinary teams that bring together faith-based agencies, grass roots organizations, government, and private corporations to achieve meaningful outcomes for public awareness, policies, and practices that support implementation of a wide range of topics such as sustainable food security practices. Using WHO’s One Health model, for example by providing food, decreasing poverty and promoting good public health practices for everyone, ABB thrives to make a difference one family at a time for a stronger community. ABB was founded out of the desire of the Arlington churches that have partnered with us to collectively address the physical and spiritual needs of the Arlington Community. Since 2008, we have operated as a bridge between churches, individuals, and other community organizations.
Our recent work has led to many successes, including more people coming to faith and joining local churches, discipleship and ongoing needs met in our neighborhoods. Last year, ABB supplied 78,000 pounds of food for 14,000 people.
