Food Pantry
ABB’s Food Pantry is the only one in Arlington that is open 3 weekdays (Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday) and that shares the Gospel. We strive to take a more holistic approach in working with our neighbors in understanding their needs, praying with them and guiding them to other county and church resources. ABB’s food pantry provides meat and produce. serving 14,000 people every year, 78,000 pounds of food; 1,200 people a month. According to the Arlington Department of Human Services (2021), food insecurity affects at least 7.1% of residents or 16,670 people in Arlington according to recent estimates

Community Gatherings and Donations
Every Spring, ABB holds a free family festival with families visiting the food pantry and those living in the surrounding neighborhood with food, games, face painting, moon bounce, STEM crafting, and often a motorcycle policeman and fire truck are present. ABB periodically gives out holiday gift baskets which include games, toys, books, candy, and if available, Bibles. In the Fall, the gift bags include warm socks, hats and gloves, children’s books, and grocery gift cards. In 2023, over 50 warm coats were given out.
